BLESSING FOR YOUR COMPANY

Gen. 39:5 From the day Joseph was put in charge of his master's household and property, the L<%=ftSC%> ORD began to bless Potiphar's household for Joseph's sake. All his household affairs ran smoothly, and his crops and livestock flourished.

Heavenly Father,  

I thank you for the many blessings You have bestowed upon Your chosen people.  I rejoice that Your promise to Abraham to make him a great nation and that all the people of the earth would be blessed through his descendants extends to me.  Please bless me and then make me a blessings to others.  

Just as You blessed the employers of Jacob (Gen. 30:27) and Joseph (Gen. 39:5), so I ask that You would bless my employer.  May the abundance they experience be so great that it drives them to respond, “This must be the hand of God”.  

Dear God, bless my company for my sake. Bless us with financial prosperity.  Bless us with stamina and stability.  Give us creative ideas promoting effectiveness and efficiency that place us on the cutting edge of our industry.  May those in leadership make decisions based upon the wisdom of God rather than the knowledge of men.  “For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength” (1 Cor. 1:25).  At the same time I ask that You would steer me company away from greed and selfish ambition.  May our vision for business extend beyond padding the bottom line.  Fill us with compassion for the poor, and give us hearts of generosity so we, too, can be a blessing to others.  Raise up a standard of integrity that inspires coworkers to labor with honesty and forthrightness.  

Cultivate and atmosphere of mutual care and concerns between workers and management that would position us as the model of goodwill and cooperation.  May we truly become a family.  Establish around the perimeter of our employees a hedge of protection from sickness and disease.  “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Prov. 10:22).  Most of all, bless us with an impartation of Your manifest presence.  Give us a glimpse of Your beauty and majesty that hearts would be changed and Your Spirit would be poured out on all people.  Make our work environment fertile ground for a harvest of souls.  

Let Your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children.  And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. And establish the work of our hands for us, Yes, establish the work of our hand (Ps. 90:16-17).
