PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL ABUSE
Heavenly Father,
I come to You wounded and broken person. The physical and emotional scars of an abusive spouse have battered me to the point of despondency. I desperately need Your presence and healing power in my life. Lord, please allow my spirit to be fed from Your light so that darkness will not consume me. Please dispatch Your angels as a hedge of protection around my family, to protect us from further harm.
In the name of Jesus, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, and I bind and cast out the spirit of anger, and violence over my spouse and my family. In the name of Jesus, I bring the blood of Jesus against satan, and I forbid him to gain any kind of foothold into our lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, I loose peace, calmness, temperance, and self control into my spouse and into my marriage. I decree in the name of Jesus, that my spouse will love me not only in word, but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:18). Minister to his spirit, and cause Him to fall in love with you again, and the love we once shared will be restored.
Father, I love my spouse, but I refuse to bear the blame for the behavior of
others. Disperse the enemy’s smoke screen that tells me our problem is my
fault. Because I am in Christ Jesus Lord Jesus, put
a stop to this generational sin and prevent us from acting out what we have
experienced.
“You are my hiding place, preserve me from trouble; Surround me with praise and songs of deliverance, and instill within me the strength to press my way. Please place anointed people in my life who will encourage me, and have the wisdom to help guide me so that I will know where to go from here.
Lord, I thank you in advance for bestowing upon me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for heaviness. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
