PROTECTION OF YOUR CHILD

The Lord protects the simple hearted, when I was in great need, he saved me (Ps. 116:6)

My children are so precious and innocent Lord.  They are the simple hearted.  Yet, the world they face today isn’t so innocent.  The world they face is evil hearted, with impure and unholy motives.  Danger lurks in the darkness, and I so easily fear for their safety. 

I take solace in You, Lord because You came to destroy the works of the devil.  You said in Your Word, “do not fret because of evil doers, so I cast all my fears upon You and Your protection power.   You are my children’s refuge and strength, an ever-present help in time of trouble, at school, at play, at home.  Be a refuge, mighty God and guard my children from physical harm, either by disease or injury.  Be a refuge, keeping my children from emotional and spiritual harm. 

Father God, just as You kept Joseph safe in prison, and baby Jesus safe from Herod, I place my trust in You to keep my children safe.  Your favor is a shield that surrounds my children, a hedge of protection that cannot be assailed by danger.  Therefore, I confess my trust in You, and I place my children in your hands.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen
