MY HEART IS BROKEN OVER THOSE THAT ARE CALLED BY MY NAME Patsy Shelton Aug 21, 2003

There is rottenness in the hearts of My people, and just as a wooden fence decays and rots away, the same thing is happening to those that are choosing to walk in unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, and resentment. And little do they know that it is even affecting their physical well being, and shortening their days.

How little My people understand of what I require of them, and how much they demand of Me. Oh they call out to Me, and they want this, and they need that, with never a thought that the reason that it doesn't come is the state of their own hearts. Then they allow that root of bitterness to begin to defile their relationship with Me, and with others.

In their lives this will cause the cluster of grapes, from which the new wine is pressed, to begin to sour and stink. There is no mixture in what I am doing in this day, and in this time. I cannot put the glorious new wine, into wineskins that are filled with anything but the purity of My Holy Spirit.

I have outlined the path of the abundant life in My Word, and they will find it by walking in My Ways. But, oh, they want to see the goodness of God in the land of the living without giving themselves to me by obedience to My Word.

I have called, and I have called. I have sent My ministers, and My prophets to proclaim that this is the acceptable year of their God, but it is also the year of the vengeance. If My people who are called by My name choose to align themselves against me, and in doing so align themselves with the enemy of their soul, what say do I have? Then they begin to quote My Word, that no weapon formed against them will prosper, when they have opened the door wide to him and given him access to their health, their prosperity, and their promises, and become bitter at Me.

I tell you that their bitterness will destroy them from the inside out. I have warned, and I have called, and yet they choose to walk on in their rebellion, and they choose to align themselves with the enemy and against Me.

The people that are called by My name are a rebellious house, and they have hardened their hearts, and that which is upon them has been brought by their own stubbornness. They are walking in iniquity and idolatry.

I am grieved this day. I am grieved at how little My people know of Me, and what I require of them. My heart is broken over these that choose to walk on in darkness, ignore My wants, wishes, and desires and hold tightly in their hands this iniquity. I am grieved that these that say they are mine twist and turn My word, and My ways, so that it suits their behavior, and allows them the freedom to walk on in unrighteousness, and call it the righteousness of their God. This stinketh in My nostrils.

Who shall ascend to My holy hill, and stand in My holy place? He who hath clean hands, a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul to vanity, or sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing of the Lord, and the righteousness of the God of their salvation.

How sad it makes Me when there are those that are not called by My name, those live a more righteous life, than those in the house of God. And you wonder, "Why has He tarried, and why have all that He has promised, and all that He has said not come to pass?" Today I give them the answer. It is your own heart, it is your iniquity, it is your rebellion, and it is your stubbornness that has shut the door to the abundant life that I promised to you.

It is a day, and it is a time for prayer and fasting, and repentance at the altar of God. So, come now in a spirit of humility, and let us reason together, and be turned from your wickedness, so that the blessings will flow, thus saith the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel.

Oh My heart is broken over the state of the people that are called by My name.
