HOLD
ON OLD SOLDIERS
Eph
6:13-17
'You are more than a conqueror. You belong to me. I know that storms will rise. They are created for a reason, listen for my voice. I have not left you. You must tell Satan he is a liar, you must. He will flee. You have but to ask, and I will supply. Have faith in Me. "
My
weary soldiers:
It's January, and already the enemy is on his job trying God's people.
We must stand and refuse to allow him to push us around like he did last
year. How many times are we going to allow the Devil to rob us of our finances, and
we take it without fighting back?
Old Soldiers, why is this happening day after day in
our Christian homes?
Why? I will tell you why, because we don't recognize that the enemy is a
highly trained and skilled warrior whose only purpose is to come into our homes
to "steal, kill and destroy" everything we allow him to touch. We need to recognize that
satan and his evil forces hate us with a
passion and they are "hell bent" on destroying us and all that
pertains to us.
We need to change our attitude. For too long our attitude have been, to be
"wise as serpents, but harmless as doves." Jesus is wise to all the
tricks of the devil. He was harmless as a dove to all the poor lost souls
who had been taken captive by satan and had been beaten down all their lives in
and through his control over them. However, Jesus WAS NOT
"harmless as a dove" when it came to confronting and combating satan
and his forces! Was He a harmless dove when He chased the moneychangers out of
the temple? NO! Jesus was then, and is now a heavenly warrior who knew how
to fight His enemy with "brute force" by using the Word of God (the Sword
of the Spirit) and won every time.
It is time that we learned to be more like Jesus. It is time we develop a
warrior spirit and go on the attack, instead of allowing the enemy to attack us until we are overcome
and taken captive The
weapons of our warfare ARE NOT carnal (powerless, earthly), but POWERFUL
to the pulling down of strongholds. 2
Cor 10:4
Submit yourself to God, resist the Devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7
I am sick and tired of what the devil is doing to me and my family.. I am even more outraged as see what he is doing to my extended family, and the church. I asked the Lord to give me a "Warrior Spirit" to fight against everything the enemy represents, to compel me to win the battle! I asked the Lord to show me all the spiritual weapons at my disposal, and how to use all of them effectively to destroy the enemy! This is my prayer for all the members of the Body of Christ. We must stop allowing the enemy to come in and overcome us and our family! We must stop allowing satan to take away our health and happiness, and stop allowing satan to rob you of all that makes life enjoyable.
Pick up your spiritual weapons and fight like the mighty servant God called you to be. You are powerful in and through the Holy Ghost which is living within you. You are mighty, and can pull down of strongholds of the enemy in your life. You are fearsome, and satan is afraid of you when you know who you are in Christ. When you begin to speak the Word of God, like Jesus did, it will put the enemy on the run and destroy the works of your enemy!
Get angry at the
enemy. Learn
to HATE him! Learn to FIGHT him with all that the Lord has given you, and you
will see that you are no longer the victim, but a VICTOR! The enemy will
begin to hate to see you get up in the morning, because of Who resides within
you. Get
up each day and get your marching orders from the Lord. Then
go forth in the power and strength of God Almighty, and you will win every battle that you
enter.
I pray that this will set you and your family free from the shackles of the
enemy. I pray that when you get up in the morning the enemy will run from you.
I pray that when you wake each day satan kingdom will say, "Oh no, they're awake. What are they going to do to
us today?
No longer are you weary, but might in my name. Awake My Church and FIGHT!
I am a soldier in the army of my God. The
Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith,
prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare.
I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by
adversity, and tested by fire. I am
a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity.
I will either
retire in this army at the rapture or die in this army; but I will not get out,
sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I
am faithful, reliable, capable, and dependable. If
my God needs me, I am there. If He
needs me in the Sunday school, to teach the children, work with the youth, help
adults or just sit and learn. He can
use me because I am there! I am a
soldier. I am not a baby. I
do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped
up. I am a soldier. No
one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me. I
am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I
am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and
building His kingdom!
No one has to
send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me handouts. I do not need to
be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to. I
am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I
cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I
cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.
When Jesus
called me into this army, I had nothing. If
I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I
will win. My God has and will
continue to supply all of my need. I
am more than a conqueror. I will
always triumph.
I can do all
things through Christ. Devils cannot
defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness
cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me. Money
cannot buy me. Governments cannot
silence me, and hell cannot handle me. I
am a soldier.
Even death cannot destroy me, for when my commander calls me from this battlefield; He will promote me to Captain and then allow me to rule with Him. I am a soldier in the army, and I'm marching claiming victory. I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching heaven bound.
Here I stand! Will
you stand with me? Guess what? If
you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and been baptized for the remission
of your sins, you're already enlisted!
1. Active Duty: Serving the Lord faithfully, daily, and on duty 24-7?
2. Reserve status: Serving only when called upon: Sundays and
Holidays?
3. Guard status: Backing up the Active Duty group? or
4. AWOL! Absent WithOut the Lord?
THINK ABOUT
IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Keep looking up to God and Know He is truly and
always looking down at you!!!
THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SAY HMMM.....
POTATOES,
EGGS AND COFFEE BEANS
Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her
life was miserable and
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled Three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.
Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot,
eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil, without saying a
word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty
minutes he turned off the burners. He pulled the eggs out and placed them a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he
asked. "Daughter, what do you see? Potatoes, eggs, and
coffee," she hastily replied. "Look closer", he said, "and touch the
potatoes."
She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take
an egg and break it.
Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a
smile to her face.
"Father, what does this mean?" she asked.
He then explained that the potatoes, The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its
liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. "Which are you," he asked his daughter.
"When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are
you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? " |
Be blessed,
