Being Willing to be Obedient

1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that,
if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

What is His Will?

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you,
ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:8
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;
so shall ye be my disciples.

Psalm 110:3
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power,
in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning:
thou hast the dew of thy youth.

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

John 5:1-9
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.  In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.  For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.  And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.  When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.  And immediately the man was made whole,
and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.

1 John 2:17
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
