PRAISING GOD FOR HIS PROTECTION

Scripture Reading: PSALM 91

Because I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, He is My God, in Him will I trust.

He has delivered me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He has covered me with His feathers and under His wings I have taken refuge.
His truth has become my shield and my buckler

I will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day.
Nor the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor the destruction that lays wait at noonday.

A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand,
but none of this shall come near me. Only with my eyes will I look and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made the Lord my refuge, even the Most High my dwelling place,
no evil will come near me. Neither shall any plague come near my dwelling place

For He has given His angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways.
They will lift me up in their hands so I won’t hurt my foot against a stone.

I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent have been trampled under my feet.
Because I love the Lord He will deliver me. He will set me on high because I know His name.

When I call upon Him, He will answer me. He will be with me when I am in trouble
He will deliver me and honor me, He has promised satisfy me with long life and to show me His salvation

Heavenly Father, I thank you for being my refuge and my dwelling place.  And because you are my refuge, I have no reason to fear any evil that may come upon me or that any sickness or disease will come near me or my dwelling place.  I thank You for sending Your angels to guard over me, uphold me and to keep me from falling.  I know that because You are with me I can venture out where angels fear to tread.

Father, I am so thankful that when I am in distress,  I know I can call upon You and You will answer me.  You promised to be there when I call Your name.  You promised to never leave me, nor forsake me.  Father, You walk with me in the middle of all my troubles, keeping me from harm, and surrounding me with songs of assurance and deliverance.  I am so thankful Father that You are my hiding place and my strong tower.

I am so thankful that I can rest knowing that nothing wicked can touch me except what comes through You (1 John 5:18).  You have never left me in the past, and I know You will never leave me in the future.  Never does evil or harm have permission to snatch me out of Your hand because You are greater than any danger (John 10:29) that I will ever face.

I praise You for putting the whole Armour of God upon me so that when trials and tribulations come I will be able to stand!!  You have placed the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith in my hands to defeat the powers of evil and quench Satan’s fiery darts (Eph. 6:16).  And when the enemy comes in like a flood, You will lift up a standard against him (Isa. 59:19), because of You I am never alone.  .

But most of all, I am thankful that I know I have nothing to fear because You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind.  I am ever so grateful for Your love. For if you know the number of hairs on my head and You care for me more than the sparrow that falls to the ground, why should I be afraid?  Thank you Lord for covering me with Your love and Your protection.  Father, I give You all the praise, all the glory and I shout hallelujah to Your Holy Name.  Thank You Jesus, for being my protection and delivering me from the spirit of fear!!!
