REDEMPTION IN THE FACE OF
TRIBULATION
Heavenly Father,
For I know that my
Redeemer lives. Jesus, You are my
Redeemer, You are my stronghold. My
heart's desire is to be more like You. Oh
Lord, perform Your redemptive work in me, but please give me Your strength to
hold on until the end.
As gold is refined in the
fire, purge me of anything that tarnishes Your character in me.
I look forward to the day when I will be able to see the changes You have
made in me. Oh Lord shape me and
mold me until I look just like You.
Although I may not
understand the reason why I'm in this situation, or why I am going through, one
thing I do know; You are good and Your mercy endures forever, and You will never
put more on me than I can bear. Therefore,
I will not give up, I will not give in, and allow the enemy to win this battle.
I will not allow the hardships that I am facing to dictate to me my
emotions and responses. Jesus, I
rest myself in Your care, knowing that You are with me no matter what trials
come my way. I trust You Lord, You are in complete control of my life and I even
though I don't understand what You are doing, I have faith in You and I know
that You know what You are doing. I
surrender all to You.
