A NEW BEGINNING!

ISAIAH 43:18-19

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Happy New Year!   And what a New Year it is!  You have made it through.. Selah  You have overcome.. Selah. You have left the past behind you. Selah.  He is saying you have made it.  Stop, breath, exhale.  This is the year  for God's people to rise up and claim what is rightfully theirs.

God says in His word to forget the former things, neither consider the things of old.  He wants you to forget what they did to you.  It is a new year, time to forget the former pain.

Forget the slander you heard
Forget the many unkind words

Forget the ones who made you cry
Forget the one who passed you by

Forget pain you suffer inside
Forget the ones wouldn't stand by your side
.

Some of you were mad with the Lord for what you lost last year.  Come on tell the truth,.  Let's start the year off right.  You were mad.  However, was it the Lord who took your things? Listen to what His word says..

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. So why were you mad at him?  It wasn't God that took away your car, it wasn't God that cause you to lose your home, it wasn't God that made you sick, it wasn't God that gave you thoughts of suicide, it wasn't God that robbed you.  IT WAS THE THIEF!!!!

Jesus said) I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep (John 10:10-11)

So, now that you know who stole from you, what are you going to do about it?  God word says: But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.  (Proverbs 6:31). The enemy took all your things to his house.  He is holding your things hostage at his place.  According to God's word you have the right to take your things back from him.  Not only what he stole but SEVEN times what he took.

Now, don't think you are just going to walk right in and take it back just like that.  You have to come correctly.  In other words, you have to be right.  You must have faith in God, do not doubt in your heart, and believe what you have asked for will come to past.  (Mark 11:2-23)  Then go to the Lord in prayer and remind Him of His words. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) Now that you have reminded Jesus of what His words says' don't think that He's not going to remind you of what you must do for Him before He blesses you.

Jesus will remind you that, When you stand praying   forgive; if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. (Mark 11:25)

Having done all that, let's go into the enemy's camp and take back what he stole from you.  Take it back!  It's your time to be blessed.!!

REMEMBER ME

Now that He has brought us out, now that He has delivered us from our past, please don't forget Jesus.  I know many of you have reflected on what you went through last year and have made New Year's Resolutions for this year.  With all the promises that you will make, I pray that your walk with Jesus is your number one priority.   Please don't be like the lepers in the bible who forgot about Jesus once He healed them. You all know the story of the ten lepers.  If not, I will summarize.

Scripture Reading Luke 17:11-19

During Jesus many travels he came upon ten lepers that lived in a village.  When they saw Jesus they lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master have mercy upon us.   When Jesus saw them he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priest. And it came to pass, that as they went, they were cleansed.  One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.  He fell down on his face at his feet, giving Him thanks; Jesus asked, Weren't there ten cleansed?  Where are the nine?  None gave the glory to Jesus for what He had done, except this one.  The others had left, without even a thank you, not even a nod in His direction, not even remembering what their lives had been like before they met Jesus.

For every hill I've ever had to climb,
For the many tears I shed sometime
For every stone that bruised my feet,
For blinding storms and burning heat,
My heart says thank you for giving me a song
For all these things have made me strong

For all the heartaches and the tears
For the gloomy days throughout the years
For all the anguish and the pain
And for all the hopes that I thought were in vain
I give you thanks, for know I know
All these things have helped me to grow.

  THANK YOU JESUS!

You are blessed, whether you believe it or not, whether you feel it or not, you are blessed.  If you are reading this message you are blessed.  Why, because you have eyes to see.  You are blessed and you had better know it!

PLEASE REMEMBER ME

You came through trials and tribulations that you never thought you would make it through.  Trials that put your faith in Me to the test. Trials that made you weep in the midnight hour.  You thought your joy would never come, yet you made it.  I had to allow you to suffer; I had to allow you to be tested.  You felt cast down, shaken, torn to pieces, and your pieces torn to shreds.  It was the process I had to take you through for you to be fully delivered.  Delivered from all your past.  And yes, I did deliver.

REMEMBER ME?... I WAS ON TIME

You asked so many times, Lord remember me.  While I am on this Christian journey, please remember me.  How could I forget you? When I was praying in the Garden, I prayed not only for myself, I was praying for you.  I prayed for your healing, I prayed for your protection, I prayed for your peace, I prayed for your joy.

REMEMBER ME?... I PRAYED FOR YOU.

Wives have had to suffer for their unsaved husbands, husbands for their wives, parents for their children and yes, children for their parents.  Because of your suffering many lives have been saved.  I know I suffered for you.  Greater love hath no man than this.  That he lays down His life for his friends.  REMEMBER ME?.... I DIED FOR YOU

If we meet...

INSPIRATIONAL POEMS

I MAY NEVER SEE TOMORROW

I may never see tomorrow; there's no written guarantee
And things that happened yesterday
belong to history.
I cannot predict the future, I cannot change the past,
I have just the present moments, I must treat it as my last.

I must use this moment wisely for it soon will pass away,
and be lost forever, as part of yesterday.
I must exercise compassion, help the fallen to their feet,
Be a friend unto the friendless, make an empty life complete.

The unkind things I do today may never be undone,
And friendships that I fail to win may
nevermore be won.
I may not have another chance on bended knees to pray,
and I thank God with a humble heart for giving me this Day.

WHAT IF

What if God took away the Bible tomorrow, because we would not read it today

What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow, because we didn't follow him today...

What if God didn't walk with us today, because we failed to recognize it as his day...
What if we never saw another flower bloom
, because we grumbled when God sent the rain.....

What if God stopped loving and caring for us, because we failed to love and care for others....
What If God took away his message
, because we failed to listen to his messenger...

What if God didn't send His only begotten Son, because he wanted us to be prepared to pay the price of sin...
What if the door to the church
was closed, because we did not open the door of our hearts...

What if God would not hear us today, because we would not listen to Him yesterday...
What if God answered our prayers
the way we answer his call to service

What if God met our needs the way we give Him our lives...
What if we failed to pass this message on....

WHAT IF

Be Blessed
